Product description

What this machine does

  • Automatic armature winder for brushed DC and universal (series-wound) motors with grooved, hookless commutators. Winding, lead staking and trimming are completed in a single cycle.
  • Independent AC servo drive on each flyer for high-speed, accurate winding.
  • Servo-controlled indexing with 0.01° accuracy.
  • 360° wire-clamping motion and an armature reversing/shifting mechanism let leads be terminated at any angle.
  • Continuous staking with no loose lead ends improves termination quality and magnet-wire utilization.
  • High-sensitivity servo tension control with multi-stage tension profiles for each winding phase.
  • Modular quick-change tooling with high repeatability minimizes changeover time.
  • Industrial PLC with 10" touchscreen HMI displaying operating and monitoring data in real time.
  • Ready for robot and conveyor integration in a fully automatic line; optional remote-monitoring module for remote program support and maintenance.
