About Teamwork Automation / FaTop

The people who build the line behind your motor

Since 1992, Teamwork Automation has designed and built the winding, insulation, insertion, fusing, balancing and testing equipment that turns copper and steel into finished motors. We supply single machines and complete turnkey lines to manufacturers who cannot afford a line that only works in the brochure.

Social proof & trust

Relied on by motor manufacturers in demanding industries

Many of our projects are under NDA, so specific customer names and line photographs cannot be shown publicly. The marks below represent the industries and standards we build for; we can share relevant, permission-cleared references privately during technical evaluation.

Selected industries served (customer names withheld under NDA)

Engineering standards

  • Built to international safety & precision standards Machines are engineered to internationally recognised machine-safety, electrical and precision-build practices for motor-production equipment.
  • Structured quality process Design reviews, in-house build and wiring checks, and a documented factory acceptance test on your parts before anything ships.
  • Per-market conformity on request Electrical and safety conformity documentation prepared per project to match your destination market's requirements.

Export footprint

From Taichung to motor floors worldwide

Our winding, insertion, fusing and test lines run on motor-production floors across Asia, Europe and the Americas. Regions are directional; specific installations are covered by NDA.

Automation, at line speed

Short, high-speed clips of real processes — the fastest way for an engineer to judge whether our approach fits their part. Each demo pairs a 5–8 second loop with the numbers that matter.

Drone / BLDC out-slot winding

  • Process: needle / flyer winding
  • Wire: Ø0.2-1.5 mm
  • Winding speed: up to 2000 rpm
  • Stator OD: up to Ø180 mm
  • Cycle time: on request

Armature stuff-type winding

  • Process: automatic stuffing
  • Wire: 0.4-1.0 mm
  • Winding speed: up to 2000 rpm
  • Rotor OD: Ø25-55 mm
  • Cycle time: on request

EV hairpin stator forming & insertion (R&D / prototyping)

  • Stage: R&D / prototyping — not heavy traction lines
  • Process: hairpin form, insert and twist
  • Cycle time: on request
  • Part range: mid-to-small, to your part

Fusing / hot-staking

  • Process: resistance fusing
  • Control: closed-loop current and time
  • Traceability: per-unit logging available
  • Cycle time: on request

Balancing & final test

  • Correction: dynamic balancing
  • Test: surge and hi-pot
  • Data: logged, MES-ready
  • Cycle time: on request

Full modular line handover

  • Conveyance: modular, station-linked
  • Stations: configured to your line
  • Throughput: to your line target

Facility & engineering reality

Built and proven in Taichung before it ships

Every line is assembled and run on our own floor first. What you see at the factory acceptance test is the machine you receive — not a render.

Taichung assembly floor

Machines are fully built, wired and dry-run in-house so integration problems surface here, not on your floor.

R&D and controls lab

Mechanical design, PLC/HMI programming and process development under one roof, so tooling and control are tuned to your part.

Engineering & commissioning team

The engineers who design the line are the ones who commission it and train your operators.

How we de-risk a high-ticket line

What a global buyer actually needs to trust a supplier

FAT before it leaves

A documented Factory Acceptance Test on your parts, witnessed on-site or by video, against agreed cycle time and yield criteria before shipment.

SAT after it lands

Site Acceptance Test and commissioning at your plant, with sign-off on the same criteria under your power, air and material.

Overseas engineer dispatch

We send our own commissioning engineers worldwide for installation, run-off and operator training, and we handle their visa and travel logistics. Typical mobilisation is two to four weeks from site readiness.

Remote diagnostics

Every PLC-equipped machine supports secure remote access, so most software and parameter faults are diagnosed over the internet — often resolved without waiting for a site visit.

Spare parts & lead time

We supply a recommended spare-parts kit sized to your line and hold common wear items in stock, so routine replacements ship quickly rather than being built to order.

Warranty & documentation

One-year warranty from formal acceptance, subject to the final contract. It covers material and workmanship under normal use; consumables, unauthorised modification or parameter changes and missed scheduled maintenance are excluded, and any replacement parts fitted afterward carry their own one-year warranty. Delivery includes full operation manuals with I/O lists and electrical and pneumatic schematics, plus seaworthy export packing on wooden crates with vacuum wrapping.

International buyer FAQ

The questions purchasing and engineering ask us first

Straight answers for buyers evaluating a turnkey partner from overseas. Where a number depends on the project, we say so rather than quote a figure we cannot stand behind.

Do you run a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) before shipment?

Yes. We agree measurable criteria — cycle time, first-pass yield, defect handling — and demonstrate them on your parts on our floor. You can attend in person or witness by live video, and we provide the FAT report.

What about Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and installation?

We commission the line at your plant and re-run the acceptance criteria under your utilities and materials. You provide rigging, utilities and consumables; on-site commissioning typically runs one to two weeks depending on line scope.

Can you send engineers overseas for installation and training?

Yes. We dispatch our own engineers worldwide for installation, run-off and operator training, and we handle visa and travel logistics. Typical mobilisation is two to four weeks from site readiness.

What are typical lead times?

Lead time depends on specification and current backlog: roughly eight to sixteen weeks for a single standard machine, and four to eight months for a modular or turnkey line.

How is after-sales support handled across time zones?

Support is by email and phone during Taiwan business hours (GMT+8), with secure remote access to PLC-equipped machines for fast diagnosis between visits.

What is the warranty?

One year from formal acceptance, covering defects in material and workmanship under normal use. Consumables and wear parts, unauthorised modification or parameter changes, and missed scheduled maintenance are excluded. Replacement parts fitted after the warranty carry their own one-year warranty. Exact terms follow the final order contract.

What payment terms and currency do you work in?

We typically work in USD, on T/T with staged milestones tied to order, shipment and acceptance; letters of credit can be arranged for larger orders. Final terms are set in the order contract.

Can the line integrate with our MES / data systems?

Our lines carry barcode and laser marking for unit-level traceability, and production data is collected centrally with a live floor board showing line state. Data export and MES / OPC-UA integration are configured to your plant's systems.

Do you protect our process and IP?

Yes. We work under NDA and do not disclose customer processes, part geometries or line photographs. That is also why our public references are anonymized.
