What this machine does

  • Precision turning of the commutator OD on brushed and universal motor armatures.
  • Digital interface: forward or reverse turning, feed settings and 100 stored parameter sets for fast model changes.
  • Servo-driven cutting unit on high-rigidity linear guides for stable cutting; double-tool option for rough and finish turning in one cycle for better accuracy and surface finish.
  • Quick-change centers and fixtures; oil-lubricated drive contact protects the armature shaft and extends fixture life.
  • Servo press-arm drive holds the armature firmly against the fixture at a stable cutting speed.
  • Options: armature cleaning unit; hydraulic, pneumatic, air-over-oil or servo ball-screw feed; robot and conveyor integration for an unmanned line.
